As part of its commitment to reviving and promoting Ivatan performing arts, 6 bandurias, 7 ukeleles, and 6 violins were given to the schools. This were personally received by BCS principal - Ms. Leilani D. Ugali, BNSHS string ensemble adviser - Mr Nilo Castilla, and SNSF teacher and Maniped nu Ivatan awardee in music \u2013 Ms. Virginia Leal. This initiative aims to foster appreciation for traditional and contemporary music and promote the continuity of Ivatan performing arts through the younger generation. The turn-over of instruments to Basco schools also coincided with the deployment of the second Reverse Vending Machine (RVM), reinforcing the province\u2019s dedication to both cultural preservation and environmental sustainability."}
