The Provincial Heritage and Tourism Office, in partnership with Miss Shane Karenza Alexia Horlina, Information Officer and Social Media Account Manager of the Department of Trade and Industry, successfully held a training session entitled “Boosting Tourism Through Digital Marketing: Social Media Strategies and Online Advertising Essentials” on April 3 at the Conference Hall of the Provincial Library.
The training aimed to strengthen digital efforts in promoting Batanes as a top travel destination by enhancing tourist arrivals and boosting audience engagement through effective online platforms.
Participants included staff from accommodation establishments, tour agencies, and the Tourism Office — all collaborating to elevate the province’s tourism visibility in the digital space.
